is everything else in your truck OEM? I think spending money on components would be very dissapointing if that is all you bought.
That system sounds good because it is very carefully tuned. My wife has the flagship mark levinson audio package in her 08 lexus
I love the way it sounds.and i need components for my truck but i want my sound to sound even better than her's

Word! You're going to need a lot to get your system to that level. If you are really determined, you'll need to gather up plenty of equipment, and I don't think your budget is reasonable. Even after you get the proper equipment (speakers, amps, processing, source unit, sound deadening) you'll need to spend A LOT of time tuning the system. Those systems in the new Lexus have been tuned farther than you would ever believe. If you are just looking to add a set of components to your system I think you might be in for a bit of a let down. I would hold off untill you are really ready to drop some coin on a nice 2 way system and possibly put some processing behind those speakers. If you plan on using the factory stereo you will loose a lot of SQ right there. There is alot more that needs to be though of before you can just surpass a system that has countless hours of tuning and design.
Terrible.I feel bad for Bing that his name is mentioned in there by that guy.
