So I decide to start installing my amp today, my first time installing on eon my own. Speanding much of the day running wires I decided to power it up.The amp has been in a box for ohhh about 6 years. No power. So as I start looking for what I have done wrong, I decide for some reason to turn the gain down as the rear appeared it may be all the way up. As soon as I touch the screw, the damn thing falls inside the amp. I guess I will have to tear it apart and see if its something I can fix. And at this point I am wondering if I should even bother(frustration talking I guess). Just had to vent a bit.

Old RF 5 channel, 600.1 if I recall the model correctly. My plan was to use it until I could afford to upgrade.

Just crack it open and look for obvious issues...salt corrosion could have def. taken a chunk out of the metal over time.

Got the amp hooked back up and things seem ok, though I had to grind down a small screwdriver to be able to adjust the gain. Now I have much tuning to do.
