alpine 9833, does it have a subwoofer xover adjustment?

and where in the functions is it?

my new (used) hu 9833 seems to have the sub xed at 100hz? (lil boomy/boxy sounding)
id love to x it @ 60 :)) hz) without tweaking my sub amp

can it be done from this hu?


i dl'd the owners manual but cant find the imfo i want?

yes.. it had a 3 way xover network. it's practically a 9835 w/o the biolite display.

I haven't tinkered w/ that deck in a while, but it should be w/ the bass engine pro section (bottom left of vol knob)
you might need to hold down one of those buttons. also make sure you have it switched to 3-way network mode, (bottom of deck)

im using the front rca out into a 3 way audio control 3 way x over (tweets/mids/midbass)

and sub out rca to sub amp etc.

i dont see what page the bass engine is on in the manual?
Hold MENU then click MENU to get to xover. PG. 16

nevermind about the bass engine.. that's for older alpine HUs iirc
gotta tell you i like being able to cross my moofa over @ 31.5hz from the hu..... :)
