Anyone have any imput on this? I have the 9883 right now, and i'm not real happy about the lack of EQ, however, the 4v preouts are nice. The cda105 has 5 eq bands, and a wider selection of options for tuning. So, it basically comes down to preouts vs eq. I can get the 105 for about $80 from a friend.
Anyway, any advice/imput is appreciated.

I put one of the CDA105's in my wifes car.I think it is a pretty good unit. She's used it for about 2 years with no problems. Also direct USB connection for Ipod,Iphone or thumb drive. It has a pretty decent Ipod control and search. You can also hook the PXA-H100 Imprint processor to it and get a pretty good DSP setup-3 way crossover, better eq,time alignment etc.I think you can get the PXA-H100 for cheap at 6th Avenue Electronics and I believe they are factory authorized for Alpine.

hmmm, sounds decent. Do you think that the ability to add imprint and some more eq is worth losing 4v preouts?
