where do you set your head unit volume at when running the imprint measurement, I didnt see anything about that in the manual, and as far as running that usb cable to your pc outside the vehicle ,do you just close up the window on the cord.

As far as I know, the HU volume control has no effect. You close the door on the cord to the PC, you would never get the window tight enough.
