Not sure if this is where i should post this, but i have a SS ref 405 in need of repair. Anyone know where i can send it for a reasonalbe fix? Powers up, no sound.......

What did he charge you on your 2 SS amps? If you don't mind me asking.

About $100.00 a piece with shipping. My shipping was high, I crated them and over wrapped them. I also asked him to insure them for me. I didn't want to have to replace them.

Being that he is only about an hour from my house, it probably would have been cheaper for me to call in sick and pick them up.

[edit] I was one of the first people to try out their ESX amplifiers in a vehicle (back in the day!), at the time I was only aware of their series VII Hifonics stuff but my boss knew Stephen from dealing with him before on some engineering things so I got to be a guinea pig for the new stuff. Stephen himself came out to the shop and personally helped me troubleshoot some issues and tune my setup. I've been a fan since.
