100.4 amp sundown


what should my gain bet set at for the 2 channel separated

1/2 tweeter

3/4 6.5 component speakers


everything else is set on the amp the lpf hpf and the ssf

it should be set according to how much voltage your HU puts out. we cant tell you from 1000 miles away.

turn your HU to 3/4 with pink noise and use a DMM or oscope to set to 4 volts.

then set your amplifier to 20volts. that will set it for a max of 100 watts.

either that or set it by ear.

and the common trend is that you need to take your vehicle to a shop to have it tuned/setup, as explaining it to you over the internet just isn't going to happen

where do i connect the dmm to the h/u to the rca?
how do i set the amp when there is only 2 gain knobs on the amp?
you know it a 400 watt amp right? 100 watt each channel

step 1: Reverse any crossover settings you have. lp - hp and vice versa (hp - lp)
step 2: Turn all gain knobs to maximum
step 3: Turn bass boost to maximum
step 4: ???
step 5: profit


if that doesn't work, start another thread or 2 about it until someone finally figures out how to explain it to you
