Amp suggestions

Ok, so after a visit with Don from Unexpected Creations I was inspired.
So I may want to go a slightly different route with my set up as far as what amps I should use. Heres what Im powering let me know what you guys think I should go with. Im really trying to limit it to three amps but any suggestion is welcome. Ready?...lol

3 way active Front stage:
Tweeters crossed at about 3khz:
Seas prestige from madisound. If i read right they rate at 80wrms

Midrange playing from 3khz down to 200hz: Phoenix gold ti6 150wrms

Midbass playing from 200hz down to 80hz (maybe lower) ed 7kv.2

Rearfill crossed to play the same as front midrange:
phoenix gold ti6

Subs 2x ed 13kv.2 playing from 80hz down.......

what tyoe of cross over or hu will u be using to get
tweets, midrange,midbass
then fullrange
and then bass?

is the rearfill neccessary?
and ull have to post a budget.
ppi frx456 crossover
pioneer deh6000bt
no budget
A pair of Kenwood KAC-X4R's for your 3 way and maybe the matching X1R for the subs... Kenwood's have built in DSP to add some xover, t/a and equalization to your setup. Doing all that you want with that deck and xover alone would be difficult without more processing. These amps provide that for a very modest price and sound very clean. I've never owned Kenwood before and was leary, but after using it I can only say they squeezed a lot of performance out of these guys for the price. All 3 can be had for ~200$ each online if you look around.
those look nice im not sure if the sub amp is going to provide the power im looking for though. ill keep these in mind....Any other suggestions??
I think Im going to go with my originally planned 2x NINe.5's... If I can find them :-(
I'm always down to support zapco amps, especially DC Refs. ;]
Well hell why not get some Sinfoni's or maybe some Tru's... Based on the speaker choices I was assuming full on "high end" amps probably weren't an option. Considering speakers make a much larger difference in sound than an amp I'd figure it a complete waste to use something like a Zapco DC amp to run mid level speakers. For the price of enough DC amps to run that system you could do a full Dynaudio 3 way and choose mid level amps and achieve better sound quality.

But I digress, it always seems like everyone goes gaga over the amplification part of a system and worry less about the speakers. In my eyes your budget should be focused mostly on speaker selection then worry about your amps after the fact.
I have one question for the OP. With all of those drivers how are you planning on doing any time alignment with what little processing you have or are you going to rely on speaker placement alone? With a full 3 way, plus rearfill it seems you're going to have all kinds of phasing issues unless the 3 way up front are going to be installed near point source.
ok @ vageta Im saving the dynaudio and sinfoni for my next vehicle.
I personally like the way the drivers ive chosen for this car sound in this car. Yeah im sure there are better drivers but ill get around to them lol.
but whats wrong with the ti6's? made by morel and they sound pretty damn good. people say they dont provide enough midbass for them but thats not even their intended use. They are midrange drivers and not meant to be capable of handling lower midbass frequencies. They provide very flat response, and get loud while doing it.

The reason i say no budget is because I like to see what suggestions people have Im not looking for a quick fix just leads that i can follow and do my own research based on. so if you suggest i go get a custom made amp i would take it into consideration and research it. If its what i want or fits my needs then thats what ill get no matter the cost. When you want something bad enough you get it right?

Nah man I wasn't dogging your choice of drivers, just saying those recommending expensive amps seemed to be missing the idea of the thread. I have a full 3 way budget setup being shipped to me as we speak but I sure wouldn't bother running zapco amps which is why I recommended the Kenwood poor man's DC series.

um not so much, I havent asked about processing because its something im familiar with and ive been able to do my own research on it. Phasing will be address by me and the installer.
Nah, I definately understood what you meant. It wouldnt make sense to run out and get a genesis or tru. I didnt get offended or anything. I saw where you were coming from. You're setups in your sig and i saw that you made a suggestion based on what you know from experience. I can appreciate that.

I was just making a general statement about the ti6's. and just so that nobody feels like their wasting their time I wanted to clarify the budget thing. Im a sky is the limit kinda guy. I dont bog myself down with budgets. ya know.

As far as the processing I got it covered though. If I dont change the hu out ill get an out board processor. I didnt mention all that Before Because it wasnt all that relevant ya know? Phase may not be an issue from the rear because there wont be too much going on back there just enough to make the car feel full. kinda like when Im at my studio. which is what im going for. I hate having no rear fill.

There's a good thread about rear fill floating around that talks about using a simple L-R signal to the rears with some delay. Probably will try it myself at some point after I get my new 3 way setup and tuned.
yeah Im not sure if you would have to do that when your hu has a rear rca output. the reason behind i say that is because (to me at least) music sounds different panned from the front channels to the back. Im probably wrong though. ... damn it now i gotta go try this lol.

on another note though Im almost afraid to ask this cause of the "tspence" affect... but anyways I like the look of those planet audio amps, the bb bla bla bla series. and they seem to meet my power requirements but how do they sound? they say they're digital audiophile amps... is there any truth to that boast? at all? or are they bullshitting?
X2 on the X4R amps. I have a pair myself. If all the DSP stuff isn't what you need maybe the Clarion DPX series would work out. They're cheap but have gotten good reviews.
if you a sky is the limit kinda of guy then buy any two amps off this thread, or better yet, buy them all, try them, and give away the ones you dont like...
Rear outputs on a head unit are generally no different than any other except they may have a different crossover point in the head unit. My Clarion does bandpass on my rear channels and highpass on the front but other than that they aren't any different as regards to output voltage or processing. Your head unit rear powered speaker outputs could do the L-R but you need some sort of delay to do it right.
I don't get it. You have Don right there in your backyard and said that after visiting him you were inspired. Then you are coming on here asking for advice. I think Don would steer you straight given a BUDGET.

Think about the statement you made then rethink it. What sense does this make????

Why would you post to say nothing?

All I'm asking for is a point in the right direction of I can't get that then what's the point? I'm not asking for anyone to lay out a system or give me a step by step, I'm asking for opinions based on the equipment I already have. Don't want to sound like a dick but it's been three or four days and I got one maybe two valid opinions.
