Problem: My JVC media player(no disk player) will only play one set of files. When my wife is with me, we listen to one audiobook. When I'm alone, I want to listen to a different one. I could plug my android phone into the aux plug, but I have to plug it in and remember to pause play when I turn off the car. (Did I mention how incredibly lazy and spacy I am? My pevious unit had USB and disk player so I could easily switch back and forth.)
Possible solution: Install a separate amp with SD slot to play audiobooks to its own set of speakers(mounted at headrest to hear more clearly). I've looked at some cheap ones, Kentiger, Lepai. The question I can't find an answer to is: will they automatically resume when I turn the car back on? Some audiobook files are very long and are hard to navigate. My JVC will not navigate quickly at all.
Can't find downloadable manuals for any of these, either.
