Picked up a beater Nissan Pathfinder that needs a bit better sound.

Looking at stuff along these lines

Probably throw a 4-channel in, bridge a couple channels, and pick up a used sub locally.

.... that is until later on I decide to be an idiot, pickup a Dayton DSP go active in the front and get a dedicated sub amp, or find a 5 channel.

That’s what I did. Went down the rabbit while.

What’s your budget?

what you doing sending me link to a single 6.5" woofer thats out of stock?
You asked for a good low cost 6.5. Just because it's out of stock does not mean it's out of production. I also put these out there because you talked about a DSP and active in your future. So a component set is irrelevant. I've ran these. They sounded comparable to a much higher cost speaker.

If you don't need help, more power to you. Good luck with your search.

People use to recommend the NXV as a low cost alternative, frequently see this on sale as well

JBL GTO go on sale in the 80-90 range fairly frequently and are decent for a low end set.

Nothing set in stone but not feeling like spending over $100. Would be more comfortable spending up to $75 on this car at this time.

I don’t think you can beat P-67CB for $69.99. If you you want a simple component set.

Silk tweeters, real crossover, rubber surround and a 3 year warranty.

JBL GX600C tests good on a Russian site I frequent and sound nice as well with typical JBL midbass & vocal performance (that's a good thing). Installed a couple of sets and have come to appreciate the high value. The tweets need slight EQ'ing but are more suited for off-axis installs. The set can be had on ebay rather cheap since they're a few years old.. $60 IIRC last time I bought some.

Man & Machine... Power Extreme!
