I kinda have a urge to try a 15"...I never had one and kinda want to mess around with it. I have a Krypt 500 amp (Arc mini clone) so I have a little over 500rms at 2 ohm. It will most likely be in a sealed enclosure and looking in the $100 to $150 range. I would rather new becuse I dont like the idea of buying a used sub. So far the JBL GTO has caught my attention as well as the Vibe BA15.

JBL
JBL GTO1514D (GTO-1514D) 15" Dual 4 ohm Grand Touring Subwoofer

VIBE
VIBE Audio BA15 (BA-15) 15" Dual 2 ohm Black Air Car Subwoofer

Any other suggestions?

How much room for an enclosure? Ported or sealed? SPL or SQ? Just trying to help!

I would have up to about 2 cubic feet. I know for the price I won't b looking at any high end sq. I just want something that will go low on everyday listening. So I guess just a decent all around sub. Not strictly sq or SPL.

What'd you think about the RE? A little more Xmax than the GTO.

I'd say it's a toss-up between those two.

I like the RE. Specs look good except it's a little deep. I need to check that again. That JL 13 was close in depth

Yeah, completely forgot about that semi-shallow mount Polk MM 15. That might be the ticket!
