I am going to get a remote start for my truck I have done 2 before I am always worried about them. Are any company's more diy friendly as far as tech support

Most companies screen their tech calls. Dealer calls are priority with most of them.

ADS/Idatalink tech is really good
Audiovox is good
DEI may hang up on you if you're not a dealer
Never had to call Compustar (I imagine it's really good) or Fortin tech

If you provide me with vehicle information, I may provide you with wiring information.
