I am new to the community and just want to ask for some advice ...

I have been a previous fan of AQ,xtant, and Eclipse. The reason I ask is because I am more of a "SQL" guy, but have always been disappointed with my frontstage...

Does anybody have experiencing installing on this car and also what does anyone recommend for an avid rap listener?

A guy I knew competed last year with the G35 (Brian). He ran dyne dome mids and tweets in the kicks if IIRC. He had dyne midbass in the doors though I don't remember which one. I think the G35 could take a pretty big driver in the door, so you might could try the MW172. Brian had a 13" elemental design sub in the corner of the trunk. You might want 2 for your rap.

The door's should Be 6.5", Rear's are 6x9, Vary easy to Sound deaden the doors,you can do the inside of the doors, by unscrewing it, Once you get the door pannel off you will know what i am talking about. If you remove the seats, when you put the seats back in you might get an airbag light on the dash, To fix this cycle from off to accessory (Right before engine start) 3 times,It may go off the first time or blink slower if does just cycle it 3 more times.

One serious issue you will have is the lack of Trunk space. I sure hope you don't have factory Gps, cause that was a Pain in the ass too. Give us a budget, and we can help alot more and what you want to do.

I have about a $1500-2000 budget for everything.

My goal would be to have nice bright highs and a nice sounding single substage that would keep up with my music(rap mostly) listening habits

Even if I dont have the BOSE "amped" sound on wheels stereo will I need something like a cleansweep or 3.6 etc..? I have the 2008 basic non amped system non-premium

Will that happen even if I disconnect the battery even before starting the install?

I don't rember, but i don't think so, only if you remove the seats. I did both so i can't really tell you.

I am not opposed to either, but since I have to keep my stock headunit(2008 model no dash kit or anything yet for it) I think passive may be easier.

I havent seen him do a G37 before only the G35's, there different.

OP is yours the "s" edition?

it says 07+ it is not so much a G35 after that- it is a G37 I think the change happened for 09's

It's an 08 G35 Sedan. I bet someone has experience with these cars
