It's been around the Super Duty forums forever but with all the talk of keeping cars quiet I've never seen it discussed here.

If you have hollow door seals you just get some green surgical tubing, use baby powder as a lubricant and fish it through the seal. We use 3/8 tubing but smaller cars may require smaller tubing. It basically firms up the seals and cuts out TONS of wind noise. Most people just pull the seals off and pull them out flat then work a piece of wire through then tape the tubing on and slide it back through.
The cheap clear tubing won't work...it just crushes. The green stuff stays pliable even in super cold weather.

Anyway...there it is for people that haven't heard of it.
Cheap, easy and more than worth the effort.

Sound like a great idea. Got any picks of an install or of the said green tube?

No install pics...been too long since I did it. And it's just plain old green surgical tubing available at any medical supply place.

Truck guys have been doing it for years. It probably won't hell a super quiet high end car but it makes a nice difference for those of us with average vehicles.
