Im looking at picking 2 of these up with my tax return. Im wondering if anyone has any experience with these ported? Jl audio recommends .75ft3 @39hz seems tuned a little high to me and I have always heard that jl recommends on the small size. I will be powering with a 1200/1v3. I may lift my seat a bit and downfire them or lift it 3 inches and front fire them based on recommendations. my current set up is 4 sa8v2's in [email protected] it just doesn't seem very accurate though. I listen primarily to metal and some classic rock and I do like to get loud but clean at the same time.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. One other thought is it worth it to do with the v3 or is there really any difference from the v2 just a thought.

thanks in advance.

I didn't really want to post this on caco or ca.com and have all the boo birds come out and tell me how expensive this sub is jl audio has never steered me wrong from entry level to top of the line. Please anyone with any feedback on this sub in a ported enclosure please chime in or if maybe someone with winisd would so kind as to model this sub for me I would greatly appreciate it. heres a link to the specs:10W6v3-D4 - Car Audio - Subwoofer Drivers - W6v3 - JL Audio
