I'm planning on sending the front signal of my base headunit in my 11 Ram to my frontstage and rear signal to the sub so I can control sub level that way. Processor will be the new Mosconi that's coming out. Does anyone know if these headunits put out a relatively flat and clean signal from 20-20k? If not which cheap aftermarket headunit has the better transport in it? My 880 is on borrowed time and the motorized face is fixing to give up the ghost any day now. To my knowledge the door speakers are rolling off on their own and dash speakers capped off. The rears sound like they're lowpassed in these trucks to play into the lower midrange only or maybe they're just THAT BAD up top. I know they're whizzer cones so shouldn't be too bad up there. Any help is appreciated. If all else fails I'll hook up a bookshelf speaker to the stock speakerwires to see if it sounds "normal". Thanks for any and all help.
