I'm eyeballing some of the Genesis profile amps up for sale lately. The problem is I don't have space to put 3 of these in my install. They're not exactly small, but they are thin and so if they are stackable I could probably get by with that approach. If stacked, I have enough depth to leave a ~1/2" or so air gap between them.

I'm guessing with the upward facing fan and the heat sink venting up as well that this idea would be frowned upon. My only other option is to mount one upside down but that seems to be just as bad.

Has anyone done this with the Genesis amps?

any amplifier can be stackable. just mount them with spacers so they have air between them. if they get too hot, blast a fan on em.

They have fans inside mostly, at least my Profiles do and they were stacked. No problem.

I stacked mine no problem... a P2 Ultra and P2.. they didn't get hot at all even with 1/4" air gap between the fan and underside of the 2nd amp
