Hello everyone,

I'm interested in trying a 15" JBL sub.

I know zilch about there line up.

Can someone school me on them? Which models are sought after...best performers.

Thanks in advance!

:)

Most sought after / best performer would have to be the W15GTi MkII. It's efficient and takes a ton of power and by all accounts, sounds great. It's expensive and has a very deep mounting depth though.

The P15 would probably be a good compromise between the GTi and the GTO models.

^^ Well, I did a little more homework and I think I found my next sub! Actually, I found 4 of them!

Once I get it, I'll post my impressions

Thanks for your input

come on and tell us......we're dying over here.....hahaha :)

The JBL W15GTi MkII is a fantastic sub in my opinion. I also like the GTO and the P series. I just picked up 2 of the new JBL MS series subs and they seem nice but not as nice to me as the others. I haven't put them in to test so I'll leave it at that.

If you haven't already, try making a WTB thread in the classifieds.

That's where this needs to be...

The 608's are great! get loud and sound good loud. I have them in my truck on about 400 watts per side. the midbass is insane from a 6.5. They are extremely detailed and some what bright. the tweets have to be mounted off axis.

I think my days of enclosed sub woofer systems are behind me. I can't afford to give up the space anymore.

I know I/B won't sound the same...but I'm looking forward to it as a solution.
