Ok Ive spent hours researching this and came up with nothing. So I need help from the gods of diyma...

Im running two ed NINe.5's in my system they each have their own bass control knobs. I havent installed them yet(still waiting on one) but im thinking "Damn I really don't want two knobs maybe one Is enough" Do you guys think It would be possible to splice the cables together and control both sub outs on one knob? Or is there some sort of universal dual amp gain control knob? The amps have what appears to be an "rj" connector (or phone jack)for the knobs.

any suggestions??

Sorry I dont know much about that amp.

From what i have done I can tell you it maybe a PITA
1st the amps must be set the same so Gain by DMM
settings all that stuff...
You will need to check with the very helpful staff at eDesigns
to see if that parts are tested before install and if they have a "Tolerance"
the subs may react difrent if the Tolerance is off by tomuch.

So if everything said yes go for it,
then un-pin one of the cables cut and solder to the other cable..
I know JL Audio makes a (2) into (1) Bass Knob
not sure how meny others do..

Good luck & feel free to corect anything I said that maybe off.
its been some time since Iv needed to do this task..
