Okay, so currently my electrical system consists of a 120 amp alternator, and an Optima red top. I got a great deal on a Kinetic HC800, so I picked it up. Now I'm wondering how I should go about integrating it into my system.
I found a few different type of isolators, relay isolators and then the other "box" kind. Is the advantage of a relay isolator that it is cheaper? It seems like the box ones are nicer because they don't rely on a relay setup. Should I size it to my alternator? Would a 140 amp isolator work? Thanks for any help!
