looking to fill the gap between the XLS 8" midbass and the Fountek Neopro 5i. I was thinking about the Dayton's. X-over will be @ 200-250 in the midbass to midrange region, not sure where I am going to try to X over the mid to ribbon, any suggestions?

I'd go with a higher sensitivity driver than the dayton 5", in order to keep up with the dynamics of your system.

Maybe an LPG titanium dome midrange, if you can cross at 4th order ~300hz.

thanks for the advice- well I just found out I have a baby on the way so I guess I will be skipping this- if anyone is interested I am selling off some items I recently purchased so check out the 4 sale forum if anyones interested
