what's the pecking order for zapco amps? the studio's look just the thing but some appear to have balanced and some don't

also the referance series look a bit like the old dragster amps but with a line called referance i would assume they are the top ones?

i've got a whole host of zapco processors so balanced in would be ideal for my requirements :)

it seams there's not a lot of amps about that take a balanced input these days :surprised:

I would place the studio series just below the C2K's in the "pecking order"

Let be more specific as Quality Sound said:

Competition (C2K) > Studio > DC Reference > Reference > I-Force

Studio amps are old and disco'd. Great amps, I think they sounded great, but Zapco had not implemented balanced throughout the line back then.

I think it's a meaningless question if you are trying to create a hierarchy of all amps zap ever made...

You should buy my pair of Z600C2s. These are the Competition series before the C2Ks- C2K is Competition 2000 line as they were introduced in 2000. My Z600s are mint, one is BNIB...both are white and have Symbilink only inputs.
