Ok, assuming this is for real and your trying to narrow down your list. The jl slash 1k is designed to run that 13w7 so thats one option. As for the rest, the fosgates and the arcs. Scrap the rest and start widdlin' from there.

NO sir. I have nothing for sale. Just my choices from various places. I'm very handy with google. I'm only asking for opinions and experiences that's all.

 

My only advice on the slash amps is do a background check on the one you buy. Theres a lot of them on the market that are blown up. Or have been blown up and repaired. Nothing against jl, more knuckle heads thinking their new amp was invincible because it was JL Audio.

I got a good idea, how about YOU narrow down the list, because it like like you shotguned your inventory up for people to see to me...

 

Well every amp on there is less than $300. I don't know every make on the the list but I've heard of most of them. So to me $300 is pretty good compared to the stuff I used to see stereo shops back in the day. If this list is to big fine, but I'm not selling anything, please don't PM me or try to contact me about buying anything. Just thought some people here would cut through the list quickly and save me some time. I didn't mean to piss any body off.

JL does and has always made quality gear. Fosgate, not a top vender for no reason. Probably one of the longest standing companies in car audio. (i dont count brands that sold out to DEI). I ran arc kar series years ago in my tahoe and the experience was wonderful. Had tons of fosgate and jl gear too.

If he can get audison on the cheap then it satisfies his criteria

The point IS, besides the possibly questionable Absolute brand, there really isn't a BAD amp on the list...

THAT'S the problem...

Pick something that fits the critera and run it...

I could almost GUARENTEE that you could set up the system, and A/B between the Asoulte and the Zapco and all things set-up being as similar as possible, hardly be able to tell a difference...

Ok thanks for the info. But what I don't understand is the apparent anger. Why does my post make you angry. I don't know of all the brands let alone the features and quality of each amp. I have only really ever use fosgate amps and I know there are differences between series and models. If the post is to vague or vast I guess I understand. I was just hoping to save time searching for reviews and such.

Throw a dart, where it lands, use THOSE amps...

You won't know the difference regardless of WHAT you buy...

WHY, because you haven't used but one company... (what is wrong with a rockford AMPs for SQ, I do not know)

It's all subjective... find what fits YOUR need and go... nothing really to it... it's not magic OR rocket science...

 

I have a RF T1500bdcp. Great amp. If you can get it for $225, that's a great deal. I don't understand why the T1000bdcp would be more expensive on your list though. I would narrow down your list to amps that do 1000-1250 watts for your sub. I saw a couple that would be way too much power for a W7. JL 1000/1 is a good match for that sub and it runs constant power from 1-4 ohms so that would probably be one of your best options.

Running (2) JL Slash 300/2, and one 500/1.

All 1st gen.

All properly set with the JL clean sweep cd/volt meter, and I am more than pleased. No light dimming, no voltage drops, and no shut down during hours of jamming.

 

I wouldnt pay any mind. The original post looked more like a fs thread. And you have to be contributing to post in that forum. You cleared it up as far as im concerned. Fosgate i would go with the t-series. 1000bdcp is slightly different than the 1000bd. Hence the price difference. If you have a stock charging systemI would stick with the bd.

OK here' s the deal, Wife said she will buy the Focals from my B-Day in a few weeks, so I was hoping to have the amps on order by then. I'm very busy and was politely asking for help, again that's all.

I'm not discussing sources from these amps.

I've not bough any high end gear in a long while I am only trying find the best fit for the speakers I have listed.

Like most of the other comments I would also recommend the JL and Arc KS/SE amps. Very efficient, great sound quality

 

Well I feel stupid now. Looks like it was a cleaver Chinese scam site audiogoshop.com. Looked legit, but after a background check it's likely a scam. Sorry guys.

 

I knew those prices were too good to be true.

So, what's your budget? Are size constraints an issue?
