Product Brand & Model: Blade Technologies SE54

Condition of all items: Blade Technologies SE54 four channel. Full range with no crossovers. Very good overall condition. It is two 2 channels built into 1 chassis. Each pair of channels has its own positive, negative and remote turn on power hookups. The power light is a long red bar that goes across the one side of the amp and when power is given to only one side only half of the light bar lights up and when power is given to both sides the entire bar light lights up. Very unique amp and pretty dang cool. Still has original warranty sticker intact. 5 of the speaker output screws aren't the original but they are the proper thread. Made in Canada. I've read that it is a class A amp but turns to class A/B after a certain wattage. Youtube video of me showing the amp working 100% :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jo00lfHQeNA

50x4 watts RMS at 4 ohm
100x4 watts RMS at 2 ohm
200x2 watts RMS at 4 ohm bridged

That information is incorrect! The Blade SE series amps are all hybrid class D. BASH (Bridged Amplifier Switching Hybrid). Read up on BASH amplifier technology.

Had people having the same argument on Facebook. The information I gave is correct...I said I "read" that it was class A then turned to class A/B after a certain wattage. This amp is from 1996 and I don't know if class D was even available yet in amps except a select few. I would have to see an owners manual to confirm one way or the other :)

If the has more than two rails then the power supply and switches them according to the output similar to that of a Class G/H amp...while the amplifier section still remains the same A/B. At least that is what am getting when I read up on BASH.

If I recall from my old car audio mags it has a class A/B power supply and a class D output stage so the SQ of a class A/B, but the efficiency of a D. All their SE series of amps were true mono blocks which makes them great for channel separation. Great amp, would love to have a few, beautiful to look at too. Good luck with the sale!

That doesn't make sense to me...a/b power supply and d output. If it had a class d switching output, then it would be a class d amp.
Yeah I've never heard of a class AB power supply...The class G/H just means the amplifier sections is set up to use two or more rail's for higher efficiency. I've heard of regulated and unregulated power supply but never class AB.
