I have used Birch, Oak, MDF, HDF, ULMDF, Trupan and even plywood and paticle board...the last two way back in the day lol. I was browsing through Lowes and found Blondwood in a 4x8 sheet 3/4" thickness. I comapred it to Birch and it seems to have the same density, but more layers 11 or so. Has anyone used this for enclosure fabrication? Anything I can save weight with will be great. Even Birch is much lighter than MDF LOL.
