I built a box to house 2 JBL GTO804 subs. They require a .30 cu ft each. Through a miscalculation, I ended up with .35 cu ft each. Is this enough to make a difference on a sealed box?

I would not worry about it. If you are worried about it just glue and screw, nail or whatever a piece of MDF .05 cubic ft. in each side of the enclosure. I would not lose sleep over .05 though.

Thanks. I was thinking I messed up big time since I overshot the box size by about 15% per sub. What would be the affects of that miscalculation?

You are better off erring on the large side with a sealed box. It will actually help it dig deeper and be less boomy.

Ok, thank guys, I'm gonna roll with what it is then. Subs are scheduled for delivery Monday. Was hoping I would get them Friday but no such luck.

I do have another question though, when I cut the holes for the subs, should I center them in each chamber, put them as close together as possible or seperate them as far as possible, or again does it even matter?
