Carving custom shapes from foam or wood?
Can anyone link to any pages where they detailed how they used foam or some other material, carved, shaped and sanded until they had the design they wanted, then used that as a mold to make the actual part?
I want to create new dash and console panels for my car, but the existing panels are warped from being in the sun for so many years so I can't use them as a base. I wanted to mount custom components and remove oem stuff anyway, so it would work out well.
