Are you willing to cut your dash?
Something that matches your front stage to blend well. I'd go at least 4" and tweeter if not 5" and tweeter. Cover the full voice range.

Is it for multimedia or to enhance center focus in music?

To enhance center focus, the center speaker shouldn't play loud, loud enough to give the mono information, but quiet enough to don't pull the stereo image to the middle and narrow the stage. A 3" full-range driver should suffice for that job.

If it's for a dedicated multimedia center channel, you'll really need a 4" midwoofer of the same type of the stereo midwoofers/midranges and probably a tweeter too...

I have Focal 100krs 2 way separates on my dash, with morel elates on the LR and an Audiocontrol ESP-3.
It was the smallest I could find at the time.

I have a 4" location in the center of my dash. Right now I have a CDT-HD2 2 inch full range driver running 500Hz and up in an enclosure in there and it does quite well. I am using an audio control ESP-3 as well.
