choosing a batt
so i'm trying to figure out the max size battery i can run in my 06 sonata lx's engine bay.

i measured the stock battery to 10' length 7' width and 7' tall with visible room on the mount plate.

idk how i mount batteries or how to figure out if it wikk fit so i am asking you all if a Xs 3100 will fit.

the specs are:

Length – 12.99 in
Height – 8.43 in
Width – 6.81 in

any other compact suggestions r welcome, i need 100 or more Ah on the batt and be able to handle atleast 3000 rms as a first battery

Pic maybe. Your main concern is the length. Unless your batterY is in a box. If you feel you can spare 1.5 inch each side for the full length I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work. You may have to mod slightly but I'm only guessing as ive never seen the location of your stock battery so can't say if it will or not. A pic would help slightly.
