So i recently acquired a set of those WCC components sets that are identical to the diamond audio d6s and i noticed that it gives me the option to mount the tweeter seperately or mount them like a coaxial. What (if any) are the cons of mounting it as a coaxial. It would be alot easier and less intrusive to mount as coax so prefer to do it that way. If it helps I am installing these as front speakers on a camaro if it matters.

only real disadvantage is with the tweeter that low in door can cause it to be blocked. your legs, seats, passengers, etc. tweeters are very directional, anything in the path will block higher freq content.
