I just bought a 2004 Nissan Frontier and I would like to connect my iPod to the stereo system. I don't know how to do this, but I would like to do it myself. I have a few specific questions.
1) The stereo is theft protected, if I take it out to connect something to it will it still work?
2) What sort of wire would I need to connect the iPod?
3) How do I gain access to the stereo without destroying the front console?
4) Can I do this with a stock stereo, or will I need to get an aftermarket stereo?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

There might be a cd changer port to ipod box? However those aren't cheap.

If your radio is thefy protected you'll need the security code if power is ever removed from it. Ie. Dead battery. There should be a card or it could be written down in the owners manaul. if it isn't then you need the serial # off the radio, some ca$h, and a trip to your nissan dealership part$/$ervice desk.
