I've strongly been considering ordering some of this for my build:

Welde Bulgaria - Sound-isolating plywood

The normal configuration on these are roughly 4'x8' and the two thickness variations offered are roughly 3/4" and 1". That said, the company will also be happy to custom build different thickness parameters.

-I'm looking at building 1 sub box, likely going to be sealed, with two twelves, 1.3 ft³ in each chamber, so 2.6 ft³ altogether.
-Two rear door pods for midranges.
-Two front door pods for midbass, really hoping to squeeze 3L out of ea.
-Pillar pods with both midranges & tweeters.

End goal is to decimate on an sq level.

If you were under this criteria, what would be your course of action? What thickness would you run and for what? Suggestions?

build a box out of MDF or BB, and then line it with dampener if that is what you think you want to do. I dont think there would be much benefit in doing do this for a sub, but hey...go nuts.:D

Some great input in here, fellas. It forced me to do a ton of research on alternative enclosure materials. And you guys are right on. It would be a complete waste of money to import this stuff. Really appreciate the heads up. I will continue to work on the best solution and keep you updated. :)
