I have an Acura 2007 TL, I'm using the factory head unit. I use a Matt R line driver to feed the my DSP6. the DSP feed my TRU 4100S & 2200S amps, the 4100 is the amp that runs my PHASS Midrange & Tweeters, most would call them both tweeters, my issue is the factory h/u puts out 1 volt full volume, so the line driver boost's the signal. Almost on any audio passage where output is increasing and output is getting complex I get this cracking noise. I get a crackling sound from the mid or tweeter. Both drivers are fine, taken out and tested, and the mid bass shows no sign of this artifact.

Is the line driver over loading the DSP with to much output? I'm lost......

1) could be the HU is maxing out
2) the line driver could be maxing out. does it have an input and output adjustment?
3) could be overdriving the input to the amplifiers (how did you match them?)
4) could be the crossover points. I heard tweeters crackle like that when crossed over too low.

I just spent 30 min on the phone with Zapco,

I only running one input into the DSP 6, I need to run all the inputs in, for the outputs I m I'm using, The output signal is way to hot for my Sweet Little PHASS Driver.

My output wasnt equally to my inputs
