Well, I tried to avoid it for a long time, but its time to ask a dumb question:D
I am starting the install of my newest stuff and am going active for the first time. I am running Dayton rs180's for mid bass, rs52 for ded mid range, and morel mdt12 tweets.(also two IDQ 12's). The source is a Pioneer P9 set \up with DEQ. Now I began to think ahead and realized that I have no idea how to eliminate the crossover settings on the amps(ARC FD4150,600.1 and 2200). and just set xover points from the DEQ. Any help?? Thanks in advance

Here you go. Hopefully this will help you a little. http://www.arcaudio.com/archives/fd-man.pdf

I never used a P9 but if you adjust the crossover directly from the HU then that would bee the way to do it.

Sorry it was the 2.200 that I know has the slider switch for full range. If the other amps don't have the switch and there's no way to bypass the crossover then just set the amps crossover ouside the limits of the crossover points you're using on your P9. Hope this helps a little.

Thanks jets!! That helps...setting the xover on the amps outside of the desired, and then setting from the processor seemed simple enough, but this is my first rodeo with active and I was thinking "I can't possible be that simple". Thanks for the help!!

I got curious about your question and did a little search. Check the bottom plate for a selector switch. At least thats what it says I found from my search for the fd4150.

Set and forget crossover switches on bottom plate
ARC Audio FD4150 (fd4150) Multi-channel Amps Car Amplifiers Car Audio Car Audio, Video, & GPS Navigation - Sonic Electronix

Having run out of the room on the end panel for switches and adjustments, four switches are located on the bottom panel of
the amplifier. These switches (two pair actually) allow you to decide the function of the 18dB/Ocatve crossovers. You can
select high- or low-pass with one switch or shut the filters off altogether with the other. The selections are independent for the
front and rear channels – hence the presence of four switches.
