Will the two 10" Kicker Comps be any good for a dorm room sub stage?

I bought an 8" Polk db, but don't think a single 8 will be loud enough...

Kickers would be paired with my bookshelves (Seas ER18's and TBI HDSS's) and receive 120RMS each, maybe 250RMS depending on the amp.

Also, how do you know the BOGO is working? Do you only add one and they just throw in another at some point or add two and the second is eventually free? I added one to my cart but it didn't show any indication of a second free one

EDIT: I figure that $33/each after shipping is damn good for two 10's, even though I don't really like Kickers.
