For instance using a driver like the Purifi 4". In Erin's measurements it gets a little funky in the 1-2kHz range, here's the normalized response.

Can that basically be ignored since the response will be pretty erratic anyway? Possibly be beneficial vs a smoother off axis response like the Hificompass measurements show? Might the funkiness in Erin's measurements counter act some of the destructive interference?

Mostly curious to try and predict the loading range. Andy said basically said under beaming is where the gain will be. If these would act like 90db+ drivers in the 200-2500Hz or so I may bite the bullet and order some.

I'm aware that Erin and Hificompass likely use different measurement methods, just using their results as a comparison/reference.
