Alright,

I've narrowed it down to going w/the Dayton Tweets, so I'm trying to decide between the 6" or 7" for mid/midbass. I want to run a 2-way active set-up in the front, with eventually a single 10" or 12" sub.

Will the 6" provide enough mid-bass? For the 7", will it extend high-enough to work well w/the tweet and no dedicted mid?

For reference, these will be going in heavily damped/sealed doors in my '95 accord. Tweets may end up in the kicks, not sure yet.

the tweet plays low enough to integrate with either speaker. get the 7's if u can fit them

Get the 7". the 6" has a very small cone area compared to a lot of 6.5" mids. The cone is about the size most 5.25" mids

I'm planning on trying to stuff a 7" er in my 95 Civic doors sometime in the future. Planning on a similar, simple setup like you have in mind.
