I've always felt it went DCT-1, DCT-Z1, DCT-100, DCT-A100 and the 8250 is the same model as the A100. But there is every chance I'm incorrect. The DCT-1 is top, then DCT-100 then DCT-Z1 then DCT-A100 then R1 then Denford 8250 use less expensive DACs or the transport's built-in DAC. also use less expensive chassis and do away with changer controls and digital in/out.
or something like that !!!!!!!
I wrote the wrong order, (Z1>DCT-1> SAME SAVE FOR DIGI OUT)-DCT-A1....due to the z1 having "al24 processing plus" not "al24 processing" and the few diff components on the boards dac's etc, the z1 is the top dog then dct-a1 then dct-1.
