That's a great deal...wish the batteries were 3.0Ah. I bought all mine separate and paid around 320.00 a couple years ago, but I have a better drill and instead of the skill saw I have a reciprocating saw and three 3.0Ah batteries. Still a good deal if you don't have any of those tools already.

I prefer the 3.0's also on my Makita tools. But the 1.5's work well if you plan to work above your head all day, you just need more of them to keep in rotation.

i have that cordless circular saw with a 4.0AH battery and that thing will cut ****loads of mdf and wood without charging, and it is a great saw....but i paid 279.00 for it with the charger and the 4.0AH battery, so this kit is an awesome deal!

Guy at my shop has a DeWwalt. It is VERY SIMILAR to my Makita to the point where I was thinking that maybe Makita or whomever made Makita's drill made it. My Makita is more familiar to me but had I gotten the DeWalt first, it would have done me just fine. I shy away from yellow-colored tools, haha, so I didn't bother with DeWalt. I hate the color yellow...

Right on Golden, was hoping it would save someone some dough.

It's a good package for anyone without nice new power tools or adding to their tool collection. Only thing to add is a reciprocating saw and maybe the 1/2" impact wrench if you work on cars, then you have enough to do anything.
