I’m debating whether I should buy a new 5 channel amplifier. I’m leaning toward the DLS RA50. However, I currently have a Helix HXA500Q (circa 2001). Whatever amplifier I choose, I plan to bridge and run to my mids (Dynaudio MW150’s) and Sub.

DLS RA50 Mono Bridge Mode 4 ohm: (2 x 220W) Mono Sub (265W @ 4 ohm)
Helix HXA500Q Bridge Mode 4 ohm: (2 x 140W) Mono Sub (250W @ 2 ohm)

Does anyone know/think one amp offers a significant sound quality improvement over the other?
