I'm starting a new thread to highlight the fact that I am parting out my Dynaudio System 340. The old thread was titled " FS: Dynaudio System 340 (no tweets)" I am not selling the tweeters, but the rest of the system.
The ONLY reason I am selling is that I have am upgrading to MW182's since my doors will readily accept a 9" woofer with a bit of modification.
MW160's - these are used, but sound great. These woofers are well respected. Great impact and transient response. I love the sound of drums on these midrange/midbass speakers. You can check out the response. They make an outstanding midrange, or can be used as midbass along with the MD140/2 or another suitable midrange.
Dynaudio speakers are characterized by a very nuetral sound. You get what is on the recording, plain and simple.

Next up are the md140/2's. When I bought these, they didn't have grilles. That worked for me in my last install, but in my truck in the kick panels, I needed to have the factory convex shaped grills to make the mounting depth as little as possible. So I bought new MD142's. Since these don't have grilles, I am going to let them go for well below what they sell for with grilles. Put them behind a standard 4" grille and they will be fine. They are great speakers if you can use them in your particular install.

Last but not least are the crossovers. One of the crossover boxes doesn't hold together if you shake it. I just put a zip tie around it. I never displayed the dyn crossovers because they are basic and plain. There is one screw missing on each crossover, which makes absolutely no difference because you are always going to leave open at least 2 screws for both the mids and tweets since there are 3 settings for each. The dynaudio crossovers include impedance matching circuits for the drivers, making them easy loads for your. They use top quality hand selected components. I don't need them any longer because I am going full active.
Price:
MW160's - $210 shipped
MD140'2's - $ 155 shipped
3 way crossovers - $40 shipped
$375 shipped for everything together.
Will only sell to paypal verified address, signature required for delivery, shipped to lower 48 states.
