I installed my Eclipse unit yesterday and everything was all and well. I woke up this morning to go for a joy ride and when i cranked up my deck would not come on. :-( I pulled the deck out and checked both my radio fuses and checked the fuses for the radio under the hook. None of them were blown :-(. my wireing is all secure and connected. What the heck could possiably be the culprit?

bump for any suggestions or help or theories on this delima.
Do you often take the face off the HU? When it is on the HU, try to move it a little bit from left to right.

I know my CD7000 has that problem sometimes. Who knows, might be the same problem.

One thing to do if that is the case is to attach the face to the HU with the little screw provided.

Hope that helps,
Kelvin
yup i've tried connecting it and disconnecting it a few times nothing will work. Like i said it worked perfectly when i got home around 12:55 this morning. I wake up at 10 and go outside to mess around with my ipod then boom. No power to my head unit at all. It doesn't even tell me what time it is. Its completely dead.
try holding the "source" button, see if anything happens.
Is there power to the unit?
If yes, hit the reset button (under the Bluetooth microphone) and see if it help.

No power to the unit what so everrr. I hold the source button nothing happens. I push the reset button with a paper clip. Nothing happens. I'm going to try to run an independent power and ground wire from the unit to the battery later on today to see if anything fires up. I swear i hope that works. I love this freakin deck and the 24 hours i had with it were some of the best hours of my life no ****. :-(
I had this unit for 2 days and I am even more amaze with the SQ now that I understand how to configure the parametric EQ and crossover settting.
I hope your deck is not dead, but if it is hopefully it is under warranty. Good luck.

hardness was fine. it read 1 for everything. I took the deck out hooked it up to an alternative power source nothing worked. Tried it on my old deck old deck fired up fine. Hooked my old deck up into the car and it is working just like new. Guess my 7200 is dead after 1 day :-(... My luck sucks.
