Hi,

I'm putting together a system with:
Mosconi One 70.6 driving a pair of Hertz Mille Legend 3" mids and 1.5" tweeters (leaving 2 channels unused for now)

Mosconi One 250.2 driving Legend 7" Mids (will be underutilized at reasonably low gain)

Mosconi One 1000.1D driving a single 4ohm JL Audio TW5v2

Nav TV Zen-V preamp
Helix DSP.3 with Director

The only other accessory I've added is a radar detector (Escort Max 360).

Car is a stock 2018 Audi S3 with a 140amp alternator.

I really don't think I need a secondary battery but I'm a little worried about the alternator.

The 1000.1D will do maybe 500W to the 4 ohm sub at the most.

The 70.6 will be pushing maybe 55-60W to each of the 4 mids and highs.

The 250.2 will be pushing maybe 150-175W to each of the 2 7" midbass?

Anyone think I have anything to worry about in terms of the electrical system? I listen to a lot of house and electro music as well as hard rock and other things like jazz etc. Should I reconsider an additional battery? Am I likely to damage the alternator? The stock system already had what the called a 700W amp running too many speakers.

Thanks for any input.

1000w should be fine on stock alt. Are you currently running an AGM battery or a typical wet cell? Upgrading main bat to the largest AGM you can fit is only thing I'd consider.

Put in a decent battery and leave it alone, no worries.

Thanks for the reassurance!

Battery is a 72Ah EFB Wet unit. Car has Start/Stop. I live in TX and am forced to park out in the open fairly regularly. I'll hope for the best!
