As I was browsing US SPEAKER PARTS - Speakers, Speaker Cabinets, Guitar speakers, Bass speakers, , Woofers, HF Drivers, speaker upgrades and replacement speakers. Eminence Speaker, JBL speakers, 18 Sound, B&C, EV, Tannoy, Peavey, Celestion, RCF, Jensen, Beyma, Fane, P the Eminence 6.5" sealed back midrange caught my eye. fs is a hair over 400hz but that's not a big deal considering it's a MIDrange speaker. I can think of a great way to mount them in my kick area and not be invasive at all. Do y'all think this driver would be worth trying out or does it look like another turd for the lazy installer? The website won't let me link directly to it but it's easy enough to find.

If used properly it could be really dynamic.
Pro Audio uses larger drivers for just about every frequency range.
They are typically very efficient, 97.8db and can handle 200watts from an car amplifier.
You would still need a midbass or sub which can extend up well over 400Hz, similar in application to a dome midrange.
Finding a tweeter that can keep up and fit might be the bigger challenge.

Go for it!

Yeah that first one is the one I was talking about. Also looked at the second one you posted later and thought it might fit my needs a little better. The response graph is a roller coaster ride but that's what a good peq is for.
