alright
so i have a 15 type r- the newer model hooked up to a pdx 1.1000

its in a ported box tuned to 30hz

the sub is facing up and the port is facing back right now (space issues)
the seat back seat is down and i was wondering if anyone would think it would be louder with the port facing forward

the box is pretty well right up against the seat and not a lot of air is getting into the car...so it seems

Only way to truely find out is to do it. Turn it around and see if it makes a difference. Its hard for someone to say that it will or will not work. IME it is always worked better to have it firing backwards since the wavelengths have a chance to form better when they reach you. But then again i don't have fold down seats. So try it and see what happens.
