Fibreglass lifting on edges of a pillar

My dirst attemp at a pillar builds, not cone out too bad but like an Ass i forgot to drill holes through so it would bond better. Now i trimmed the edges of the fibreglass where it was too thick to fit into dash so when i did that it slightly lifts up from the edges of the glass to pillar. How can i get it to bond on the edges so it doesnt come apart? I built it up by stretching t shirt 2 layers of resin then a layer of mat and resin then another kayer of mat and resin .
