Pioneer Super Tuner always do the job in my case. They have IF Filter, multipath rejection and DistanceX (DX)/local also stereo/mono features which is good if you want decent reception of FM radio.

I have Pioneer P99r and AVH 6800 for your info.

Kenwood also make some head units with reception quality are very good but I could not remember which types.

An older Alpine model like the one from F1 family (7990r) have excellent FM tuner quality, big sound I must say.

The best so far is Nakamichi TP1200 which is actually preamp tuner deck (no CD). The sound quality of FM radio is so delicate to listen. My friends often think I have been playing music from CD until they hear traffic announcement :)

Goodluck hunting Bro

Best Regards
