A honcho at Focal told me that you can set the crossover to 50hz and let them go. They can take it. I'd imagine this is with rated rms power or less. Put as much power to them as you can afford for the sake of dynamic headroom. Power is like money in the bank. Better to have it and not need it vs needing it and clipping (bouncing) it.
Saying that I wouldn't cross any 6.5" mid below 80hz if you have a sub capable of playing up to 80hz. Why stress your mids if you don't have to?
After saying that focal drivers are made to be played hard so do whatever sounds best to you.
