MattR currently has these. He saw them in my stash and wanted to try them. To date he has not taken them out of the box. I briefly used them in the garage. They have never been in a car.

Specs: B&C 8CXN51 8" ND Coaxial

This is the mid/high driver from the JR Triple 8 from what I understand.

Active on a Zapco DC1000.4 they are 'interesting' for sure. Make your eyes blink and not even pushing them.

From a 'standard' 4 or 5 1/4" automotive whizzer coax? No comparison. Two different animals. This is an 8" mid bass with a compression driver ('tweeter') on the back. Requires two inputs actively or a two way passive crossover. Compared to the Tannoy's these go a little higher but not as smooth overall as to be expected but the shear output and power handling is ridiculous.

Found some pics I took of these before MattR took'em. Tannoy 6.5's on the left. B&C 8's on the right in both pics.
