I still regret not going forward with installing these. I got talked out of a killer 3 way system and ended up with a killer two way. I should've stuck with my plan and went thru with it. The installer told me about the difficulties of installing them and the rattles they can cause in the doors. The installer did some deadening with an earlier install of mw162's and I added some on my own later but I'm sure it wasn't enough for the MW182. My plan was a dynaudio MD102, Scanspeak 12mu or 12m on the dash with the MW182 in the doors. I ended up with Esotar 110s in pods on my dash and 650s in my doors. I wish I could tell you it sounds great but the initial tuning wasn't to my liking and I'm having difficulties scheduling another time to get up to the original installer. I'm been working on tuning on my own with okay results. There is a big learning curve there! If I have this many problems with a two way I'm sure a 3 way would've been way out of my league. Tuning with Helix DSP and REW software I didn't have a laptop and bought one just for tuning along with a Dayton mic. In the beginning I thought I'd get all the gear installed and be done with it. Now it's a never ending battle to get it to sound the way I want. When I get a new vehicle in a few years I'll be buying the mw182s or something similar depending on what's out there and probably venture out of state if needed to get everything installed/tuned properly. The best part about this whole story. Before I even signed my name to pay for the install he mentioned I should look into buying a midrange for a 3 way setup. I was fairly pissed. Wasn't sure if he was kidding or not. Sorry for the long vent! Oh, and the right pod rattles as I drive around. $600 custom pods...

Your installer wasn't lying about the rattles and buzzes caused by these amazing drivers, when and if I tame them it will be worth it.
Installed and powered correctly, these are the pinnacle of midbass.
I don't plan on using a sub in the trunk, all up front, nothing this good comes easy.;)

lol!
you ended up most of where I wanted to.... E110's, E650's as midrange and w182's for MB.

now Im thinking of heading back in that direction. Kris- if/when you wanna sell these, I'd love to have em back :)

I have had the same issues with my truck build. It sucks not having great installers, tuners in your back yard. My next build is probably going out of state as well. Rant on brother!

I've got them installed into my heavily deadened doors (stinger roadkill, ensolite, MLV, and some additional tubing crossbars for reinforcement. The door and its panel are dead. Now I'm having to track down all the little buzzes in the cabin that the Anarchy's never caused before.

Still tuning, but they sound great and they're beasts! Thanks again!
